Our publications
The Society actively supports the cathedral through the publication of in-depth studies on various aspects of the building from its foundation to the present day.
The bulletin of the society
The Society has published a Bulletin ever since it was created in 1903. He is a two-yearly publication with articles on the cathedral in all its many dimensions. Each issue contains an updated bibliography, useful to researchers, and information on the Society’s activities, of particular interest to members. Paid-up members receive a complimentary copy of each new issue.
The 35 volumes of the Bulletin are a reference for all those interested in the cathedral. A register of all the articles published during the periods 1903-1986 and 1988-2008 has now been compiled. Specialist staff from the Strasbourg National and University library (BNUS) started listing the contents of our Bulletins in 1984. For back numbers of the Bulletin still on sale, consult the following list. Postage and Packaging extra. Contact details.

online archives
The collections of articles published between 1903 and 2004 were digitalised under Numistral, a partner programme in the Gallica project, the vast digital library developed by the Bibliothèque Nationale de France. Both Gallica and Numistral provide free online access to these collections.
We are continuing to develop this initiative. Free online access will progressively become available for other resources. These include : the first tome of the new monography on the cathedral (now out of print) ; the articles in Bulletins for years 1986 and 2000 ; articles published since 2006, with a 3-year moving wall (link). Full text online access to more recent issues is programmed ; in the interim, access to their tables of contents will be provided.
If you own the rights to an article, image or reproduction of an illustration and object to their use, the relevant items will be excluded from our project on simple request. Contact details.
